To create a water soluble fragrance oil: In a separate container add 1/2
to 1 part Triton (or as needed) to 1 part fragrance oil and shake well.

What is our All Natural Lotion Base?
Our Natural Lotion Base is what body lotions, hand lotions and hand creams
are made from. The Lotion Base is a thick paste that contains very little water.
You blend the water into it so you control the thickness of the finished product.
You can make your lotions and creams as thick or as thin as you want.
You can even make body milks and mists with it.

Why would I want a Natural Lotion Base?
When you purchase a premixed lotion base, it contains quite a bit of water. Water
is heavy and that extra weight means higher shipping costs. Eliminate the water
and you save on shipping - which means a better profit from your finished product.

What is my cost per pound of finished product?
See the table below for examples of the cost per pound for the different products.

Is it hard to make?
It's very easy to make. Simply blend warm distilled water with the Lotion Base
using a hand or paddle mixer. When you're satisfied with the consistency, add
some fragrance oil and colorant.

Are there instructions on how to make the lotions, creams, body milks and body mists?
A complete set of instructions is listed below. The instructions we've provided are
meant only as a guide. You can be as creative as you want and make your own
special blends of lotions and creams.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING OUR ALL NATURAL LOTION BASE.
Materials Required
Lotion Base
Distilled Water
Candy Thermometer
Large Glass or Metal Bowl
Hand or Paddle Mixer
Jars or Bottles for your lotion and cream
Fragrance Oil (optional)
Pigments or Dyes (optional)

1) Use the table below to determine how much water you'll need to warm.
2) Warm the distilled water to 150 Degrees F (65 Degrees C).
3) Put some of the Lotion Base in the mixing bowl.
4) Add a small amount of the warm distilled water to the Lotion Base and
start blending the two together using the hand or paddle mixer at high speed.
5) Continue adding and blending the Lotion Base and warm distilled
water together until you're satisfied with the consistency.

6) Fragrance Oil (optional)
Generally use 1 teaspoon of our fragrance per pound of product.
The amount of fragrance oil to use depends on the quality
of the fragrance oil and your own personal preference.

7) Cosmetic Safe Dye or Pigment (optional)
Using our liquid dyes or liquid pigments, start by
adding 1 drop until the desired color is reached.
The amount of dye or pigment to use will
depend on the quality of the dyes or pigments.
